Parties

Shortly after the Realm of Charm came into being, the subjects wanted to honor our King and invited him to many parties. The King wanted to spread this enthusiasm throughout the land and it was decreed that twice a month, all subjects of Charm would be invited to party. The parties would be held at different locations throughout the Kingdom, hosted and music provided by various Charm subjects. This would allow each Charmer the opportunity to celebrate the King. Parties were open to all present and future Charmers as well as visiting Dignitaries. This was later expanded to include all allies of Charm and former Charm members who remained loyal to the King.

Although times have changed, the tradition of the bi-monthly party continues under the reign of Queen Francine. Since her takeover of Charm, parties have been every other Saturday at 2PM SL. Each party has a different theme, along with trivia and music. Most are held on the castle grounds but many are also held at other locations within Charm. Music and hosting continue to be a shared responsibility.

Beginning in May 2013, the realms of Charm and Wild Protea (lead by Queen SexyDragon Sands) combined efforts and added a Friday night party beginning at 6PM SL. Each realm took responsibility for two parties a month. All proceeds from these parties were to benefit the Relay for Life team of Unmasking a Cure. It soon became clear that while many subjects enjoyed the parties, the realms started to need support from each other to make the weekly party a success. After a brief hiatus during the December/January holidays, Queen SexyDragon decided that she and Wild Protea would become a permanent support for Charm. Friday night parties resumed with a united team of party planners in late January 2014.
