Observations by Viceroy Toni Stradling

I am not one for costume dressing up but do make a slight effort for the weekly Charm parties, there is an enjoyment in doing this for a group which one feels a sense of belonging to rather than an event at a normal club where people are doing it simply to win lindens and teleport their alts in to ensure that happens. I thought the costumes for our Broadway party particularly inventive especially our majesties and it was enjoyable to hear musical soundtracks that one has not heard for some time.

Being currently capped in The Tiny Empires game I was quite thrilled to be able to maneuver my avatar into a position where he could give an acre away, alas the person who I succeeded in transferring the land to then informed me she was not actually in our Kingdom but did give me a solemn promise she would pass it on.

Often second life reminds me of London buses I would stand in the rain at an unsheltered stop as darkness fell for thirty minutes before three came at once. So on Second life having been quite inactive for awhile I teleport into The Broadway party am attempting to meet and greet all in local chat as The trader arrives and at this precise moment Someone who has not been on Second Life for four years logs on and starts asking me about my life in the period she has been away.

Gosh I was so excited I almost could not take my eyes from the Trivia questions. These by the way are compiled by a few of us and reflect our cultural and trivia differences of belief and I think this works well.

Right I am off to iron my General Cornwallis outfit for the party next Friday am told it is some significant date for The Colonists.

I hope to see you there – Toni Stradling
